KATHMANDU: Mi Nepal has launched Xiaomi Redmi 5A Prime with a 5.5-inch LCD touchscreen display, 720p resolution and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomn Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor and is available in two versions – 3GB RAM with 32GB storage space and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage space.
The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 9.0, providing users with a smooth and fast performance. The Redmi Note 5A Prime sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, while the front-facing camera is a 16MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The device runs on a 3080mAh battery which provides a decent backup. The phone possesses basic sensors like fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, compass and gyroscope.
The phone is available in two attractive colour variants — Grey and Gold. The company is providing free insurance for one year and a two-year warranty with every purchase of this device, which is priced at Rs 22,499.
