KATHMANDU: Huawei Technologies Nepal launched the new Nova 2i – the first smartphone with four cameras  –  at an event held at the Banquet Hall in Annapurna Hotel on November 16.


The model boasts FullView display technology and a high-quality 5.9-inch screen for crisp and bright images, and aids one-handed usability.


The device is equipped with a Kirin 659 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.36 GHz and ARM Mali- T830 dual core GPU for multitasking and clear graphics.


Backed by a 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card, the device runs Android 7 based EMUI 5.1 for a smooth and seamless performance, and features a non- removable 3340mAh battery.


By introducing a smartphone with four cameras, Huawei managed to successfully captured the attention of photography enthusiasts. The dual front camera boasts 13MP and 2MP shooters featuring Selfie Toning Flash to deliver more artistic and vibrant images. The device also sports a dual rear camera setup with 16MP and 2MP shooters with f/2.2 apertures and LED Flash.


The dual camera lens features bokeh effect for improved performance under low-light conditions. Other camera functions include portrait mode, wide aperture mode and motion photo.


With a sleek design and striking new features, the Huawei Nova 2i is available in the Nepali market at a price of Rs 33,900.
