KATHMANDU: Paramount Electronics Pvt Ltd, authorised distributors of Nokia phones in Nepal have announced the availability of Nokia 5 in Nepal at the price of Rs 21,350. The new smartphone will be launched in August and comes with a 5.2-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 430 chipset backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card; the phone runs Android Nougat 7.1.1.
This budget smartphone is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and dual LED (dual-tone) flash. The front camera is an 8MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture for flawless selfies. The smartphone boasts a decent 3000mAh non-removable battery. The device has a fingerprint sensor built into its home button for additional security.
Other sensors included in the smartphone are accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor and compass. The smartphone uses MicroUSB 2.0 and is compatible with USB OTG.
