The Dadheldhura Sub-Regional Hospital has witnessed some upgradtion recently.
A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Endoscopy machine and an automated lab have been installed. Similarly, the Hospital has also started providing thyroid treatment service.
Chief Minister of Province No 7 Trilochan Bhatta inaugurated the new services on Monday and expressed his confidence that the Hospital would be able to render more quality health services.
Chief Minister Bhatta said a new policy has been proposed in view of expanding the healthcare services in the remote places in the Province No 7 lacking basic drugs as citamol and oral rehydrated solutions among others.
CM Bhatta shared that the provincial government was ready to make this hospital a model one, pointing out the need of making efforts by local government and the political parties for the same.
Hospital Management Committee Chairperson Laxman Singh placed a request to the CM for his initiative to appoint specialists in the vacant seats and help expedite the tender called for construction of a new building for the Hospital.
