KATHMANDU: Nepal’s popular folk rock band, Nepathya, on Monday has released sixth single video ‘Kuroop Anuhar‘ from their 10th Album.
Issuing a statement today, Nepathya said, “Kuroop Anuhar was written by Sarubhakta and composed by Vikram Gurung during their university days in the early 80s.”
The released video consists of footage captured during the band’s 2017 Australia-New Zealand tour.
Nepathya’s lead singer Amirt Gurung acknowledged, “I am glad all our songs from the upcoming album is being well received. We enjoyed playing ‘Kuroop Anuhar‘ on stage and I hope the audience enjoyed it as well.”
Kiran Krishna Shrestha of Nepalaya, the promoters of the band and the producer of the video said, “We have tried to experiment this video with wide angle shots. The entire video has been cut between wide shot and no close ups.”
As trend of physical album is waning, Nepathya has opted to release singles of their 10th album on all known virtual stores from iTunes to GooglePlay and Spotify, it said in the statement.
Earlier, the band had released other singles such as – Koshiko Pani, Sirfula, Rama Rama, Hami Nepali and Samjhi Rakha.
