A Politician Has Raised Questions On Uniform Of Malaysian Flight Attendants For Being Too Sexy And Revealing.

Malaysian airlines are recently on the news as the lawmakers are worried about the uniform of the flight attendants. They said that their uniforms are too sexy and can arouse passenger. Senator Abdullah Mat Yasim, a chief of a Malaysian political party was reported saying that the uniforms of flight attendants don’t represent the status of Malaysia as a Muslim country. He also added that uniforms are revealing and be arousing for travelers.

The budget airlines Flyers and AirAsia may need to change the flight attendants’ uniforms as they are too sexy according to two politicians of the local political party.

The chief of Umno party, Abdullah Mat Yasim said that airlines’ uniform is eye-catchy and arousing for passengers.

Another Malaysian politician laughed and said, “whenever I fly alone on these airlines, my wife gets worried.”

Mr. Abdullah’s view was supported by another politician Megat Zulkarnain Omardin who also suggested that there should be some changes.

He was praised by the president of assembly for raising this concern.

He also said that the tourists may get the wrong impression about the country after seeing the way the flight attendants are dressed up.

“The MAVCOM (Malaysian Aviation Commission) must look into this matter”, he added.

Currently, the AirAsia has the uniform with white shirts, red jackets and red skirts with a slit.

Whilst Malindo airline has a white cardigan and purple maxi skirts.

FireFly airline was also included in this discussion in parliament.

The airlines haven’t officially made any changes in uniforms yet but they are certainly looking into it as this concern was raised by the lawmakers.
