KATHMANDU: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Coolpad is slowly gaining ground in Nepal’s flourishing smartphone market. Jaima Intercontinental Pvt Ltd, the sole authorised distributors of Coolpad in Nepal launched the company’s new low-budget 4G smartphone – NX1 in the Nepali market on August 2.
Priced at Rs 10,226, the NX1 sports a 5-inch HD 720p display and is available in Black and White colours. Powered by a Quad-core Media Tek MT6735P processor with a clock speed of 1.0GHz and a Mali-T720MP2 GPU paired with a 1GB RAM, the device ensures smooth visuals while playing games or viewing movies; it runs Android v5.0 Lollipop OS.
NX1 is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter. It comes with 8GB of internal memory expandable up to 64GB and a decent 2000mAh Li-Po battery.
