KATHMANDU: After the launch of Y5 2017 on July 14, Huawei Technologies Co Pvt Ltd have added another smartphone in their Y Series – Huawei Y7 Prime on July 18. Priced at Rs 24,900, this new smartphone features a sturdy and elegant design with a metallic finish.
The smartphone is equipped with a 5.5-inch HD display with a 2.5D glass screen, promising a clear viewing experience. The Y7 Prime sports a massive 4000mAh battery and incorporates smart power technology to help the device last easily through the day.
The device boasts a powerful Qualcomm octa-core processor with a 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM for smooth user experience. The Y7 Prime runs an upgraded version of Huawei’s signature Emotion User Interface (EMUI) 5.1 which provides a clean and simple interface. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 OS.
The smartphone also includes an Eye Care mode to decrease eye strain while playing games or using the phone for long periods. Y7 Prime features a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 lens.
Both cameras are equipped with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) for sharp and seamless photographs.
The front camera provides multiple selfie options, including ten levels of the ‘Beauty Mode’ and a panoramic selfie mode.
